[b]IC Questions: [/b] [color=#e74c3c][u][b][i]Warning a Single Copy and Pasted Sentence will result in an immediate DENIAL of your application [/i][/b][/u][/color] What is the Ordos Xenos (In 5 to 6 sentences): The Ordo Xenos is a branch in the Inquisition that is tasked with hunting, recording, and wiping out the various alien species in the WH40k galaxy. They were created after the War of the Beast almost overthrew the Imperium and have been given the responsibility of preventing an alien threat from reaching the level of The Beast again. The branch's interactions with xenos vary from total annihilation of a species to trading and sometimes allying themselves alongside said xenos to deal with a much larger threat (although this usually doesn't happen often, there have been some occasions of humanity working with mercenaries.) They may seek the aid of nearby Imperial Guard regiments and Space Marine chapters if their retinue of Stormtroopers and Acolytes prove to be of insufficient use and may also call upon the forces of the Deathwatch or call down an Exterminatus if needed. The Ordo Xenos is granted some of the best/experimental weaponry in the Imperium of Man and are also armed with their Chamber Militant, the Deathwatch, Space Marine veterans recruited from a wide variety of chapters who serve for a period of time and are then sent back once their service has finished. What Class would you play (From the Available list), why would you play them, and provide lore on that Class (2 to 3 Sentences for Each): Choosing to write about the [i]Apothecary[/i], yes [b]I am fully aware that we start off as nameless Stormtroopers and will be kept so until Council allows you as a named character,[/b][i] [/i]but for now I will write about the Apothecary. Space Marine Apothecaries are the medic equivilant of a field medic, they maintain and keep watch over the chapter's gene-seed for any mutations, stabilize Space Marines who been injured enough to trigger Suspended Animation so their advanced healing can kick in, and above all else are responsible for extracting said gene-seed if a brother dies (whether at the hands of the enemy or via the Emperor's Peace.) In the Deathwatch, an Apothecary's role is somewhat the same, but their responsibilities have been increased to monitor the various gene-seed of other Chapters, be on the lookout for foreign contamination effects on squadmates, and assist the Watch-Captain in the training of new members in the Deathwatch. I chose a Space Marine Apothecary because on KOGG/Axiom I was an Apothecary for the Salamanders and have found Medical-RP an interesting form of RP. I also find an appeal to the Apothecary's different roles in chapters, such as the Sanguinary Priests of the Blood Angels, who share a role with Chaplains of helping their brothers stave off the effects of the Red Thirst and Black Rage (and sometimes bending it to their will in desperate times), and the Wolf Priests of the Space Wolves, who are Chaplains AND Apothecaries (they also use more traditional medical products like healing balms and such.) Provide a One Paragraph RP example of your above character experiencing fear: [What was it again? What was my name? Ah yes, Brother Apothecary Caeser of the White Scars Chapter. Yes, that is it.] Caeser had been the center of entertainment of a Dark Eldar Raiding party, singled out of his squad of brothers and hunted from dawn to dusk. "Ah, time for another session are we?" came a voice from the dark depths of the cell. The lithe pale form of a Dark Eldar slid into the dim light, his hands replaced with that of jet black scissors. The Apothecary mumbled something under his breath and the Haemonculi promptly stepped forward and gripped him by the neck, "What was that now, young boy? Have you finally managed to find the tongue?" he interrogated. The Haemonculi had ripped out the Apothecary's tongue and placed it deeper into his throat, preventing him from speaking. "Now then what shall we do for today? Your femur? Ah no, we've fixed that and broken it to the point of boring me." Caeser lifted his head weakly and reared his head back to spit forth acid provided by his Betcher's Gland, but the Haemonculi, like many times previously, dodged it with ease. "My boy, how many times have you tried that lame trick?" he mocked, "I'm practically overflowing with samples of it." A slave pulled forward a cart containing jars of an acidic, green liquid. "Speaking of acid, I was work playing with your bile today," he said with a wide smile. The Dark Eldar picked up one of the containers and removed the cap, he lifted it up to his face and took in a smell similar to that of rusted metal. He then began slowly inching forwards and abruptly spilled the jar onto the Apothecary's face. Caeser screamed as the acid began to peel away the flesh of his eye lids and lips, eating away hungrily at the tissue of his eyes. Some drops had landed inside of the Astartes' mouth and left an ugly, hissing trail on the roof of his mouth and insides of his cheeks. Caeser tried to tilt his head forwards to prevent the acid from driving deeper into his face, but the Haemonculi forced his head to tilt up towards the dim light that lit the room. The Haemonculi's black eyes gleamed with enjoyment and his discolored tongue swept itself across his wide smile.
